GDPR & Cookie Policy
Last updated:
This policy explains how the official link page of Giselle (the “Website”) uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you can manage your choices. It complements the Privacy Policy, which describes all the personal data processed through the Website and your rights under the GDPR.
The data controller is the owner and operator of this Website (the “Controller”, “we”). For anything related to this policy or to your personal data you can contact the Controller through the official contact channels and social profiles linked on the Website.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser so that it can recognise the browser on later requests or remember information about it. Similar technologies, such as local or session storage, pixels or device identifiers, work in a comparable way and are subject to the same rules.
Cookies can be first-party, when they are set by the website you are visiting, or third-party, when they are set by another domain (for example an advertising network). They can be session cookies, deleted when you close the browser, or persistent cookies, which remain until they expire or you delete them.
2. Technical cookies and profiling cookies
Technical cookies are strictly necessary to run a website or to provide a service you have explicitly requested. Under Art. 122(1) of the Italian Personal Data Protection Code and Art. 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive they can be used without your consent; you are informed about them in this policy.
Profiling and advertising cookies are used to recognise your browser over time, build a profile of your interests, show you personalised ads or measure advertising. They may be used only after you have given free, specific and informed consent, and the website must work in the same way if you refuse them.
3. Cookies used on this Website
The Website does not set any cookies: neither technical cookies nor profiling cookies. It does not use advertising or analytics services, and for this reason it does not show a cookie banner.
Session storage
The only similar technology the Website uses is a temporary technical marker in your browser's session storage
(key inapp-escape: followed by a page address). It is set only on the page that helps visitors leave the
built-in browser of apps such as Instagram, Facebook or TikTok, and records that the Website has already tried to open
the page in your default browser, so that it does not try again in the same tab. It contains only the address of the
page being opened, is never sent to the server and is deleted when you close the tab. Being strictly necessary, it
does not require consent.
Third-party resources
To display its pages, the Website loads fonts, styles and scripts from third-party services: Google Fonts
(fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com, operated by Google), cdn.tailwindcss.com
(Tailwind Labs) and cdnjs.cloudflare.com (Cloudflare). To deliver these files, your browser sends these
services technical data such as your IP address and user agent. The Website does not control how they process this
data or whether they use cookies or similar technologies: please refer to the privacy information of each provider,
such as the Google Privacy Policy and the
Cloudflare Privacy Policy (for Tailwind Labs,
see tailwindcss.com).
